Day 1: Buenos Aires City Tour
We pick you up and take you to your city center hotel. You will have time to freshen up before a tour of the highlights of Buenos Aires.
Day 2: Buenos Aires
You have the morning at leisure to explore Buenos Aires some more and the option of taking a Tango class or watching a Tango show in the evening.
Day 3: Iguazu Falls Brazil Tour
We take you to the airport for your flight to Iguazu Falls. Here we will take you for some spectacular, panoramic views of the falls before you continue to your hotel, on the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls
Day 4: Iguazu Falls Argentina Tour
Visit the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls National Park to walk the trails above and along the falls. Flowers, tropical plants, butterflies and exotic birds add to the splendor of this close encounter with Iguassu. If you dare, walk out onto a catwalk that extends 1,200 yards over the tropical basin of Devil’s Gorge Waterfall.
Day 5 - Iguazu Falls / Bariloche, Patagonia
Today you will travel south to the Lake District of Patagonia. Arriving in Bariloche we will pick you up and take you to your lakeside hotel. After settling-in we take yo on a tour of this pretty, Swiss-style town alsongside Lake Nahuel Huapi.
Day 6 - Bariloche Lake Tour
Today you will have a full day tour of Bariloche´s beautiful surroundings, including some light hiking and a boat ride around Lake Nahuel Huapi. Eventually, you will make it to a high point for a view of Mt. Tronador, this snow capped volcano spans the borders of Chile and Argentina . Tronador means thunder after its many hanging glaciers which often crash and creak in spectacular style.
Day 7 - Andes Lake Crossing
Cross the Andes from Argentina to Chile navigating three spectacular lakes, past mountains and volcanoes and into the remote border land between Chile and Argentina Arrive to the pretty, lakeside town of Puerto Varas.
Day 8 - Chiloe Tour
Leave Puerto Varas for a full day tour of the unique and mysterious island of Chiloe. Entering Chiloe across the Chacao Channel, you’ll feel you’ve stepped back in time as you see locals collecting shellfish and farming as they have for centuries. The island features UNESCO-protected wooden churches and a rolling countryside with its own character, distinct from the rest of Chile. Tour includes a boat trip to the penguin colonies on Pacific Coast to see Magellan and Humbolt penguins. Return to Puerto Varas.
Day 9 - Free day Puerto Varas
Puerto Varas is at the center of the Chilean Lake Districts outdoor activities. Choose from a trip to Osorno Volcano, white water rafting in Petrohue, kayak on Lake Llanquihue, or go horseback riding or fly fishing. Overnight in Puerto Varas.
Day 10 - Puerto Natales
We take you to the local airport for your flight further south to Punta Arena and on to the lakeside town of Puerto Natales. This town is a popular jumping off spot for Torres del Paine National Park and has plenty of option for eating and drinking as well as its own charm as a remote Chilean outpost. Take a walk along the short of Last Hope Sound to enjoy the views over to Benitez Mountains. Overnight in Puerto Natales.
Day 11 - Torres del Paine
In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel for your tour to the Torres del Paine National Park.
Arriving at the entrance to the magnificent National Park Torres del Paine at Laguna Amarga there is a wonderful panoramic view of the mountains and of the famous towers “Las Torres”. Driving through the National Park you can enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings, like Nordenskjold Lake, Pehoé Lake, Salto Grande (waterfall) and Grey Lake , with its spectacular glacier at one end. Your tour includes some short walks with your naturalist guide and good opportunities to spot condors and other local bird species. At the end of the tour you will be taken to your cozy lodge , right inside Torres del Paine National Park.
Day 12: Torres del Paine Optional Activities
You have the morning free to enjoy Torres del Paine National Park. Perhaps take a boat trip up to Glacier Grey or tackle the hike up to the three Towers (Torres), or a horse ride through the beautiful scenery. After lunch, continue over the border to Argentina and El Calafate at the heart of Glaciares National Park.
Day 13 - Perito Moreno Glacier
Full day tour of the amazing Perito Moreno Glacier – one of the few in the world not receding, and as big as a modern city! You will be taken through the park to the glacier. Look out for, Redonda Bay, the home of swans, flamingoes, upland geese and South American coots. Take a stroll to the viewpoints to see out across the ice and then get close on a boat trip right up to the glacier. Overnight in El Calafate.
Day 14 – El Calafate / Buenos Aires
We take you to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires and home … an unforgettable trip!
